'Coffin' opens for indie shingle
'Envy'Independent financier and production company Kerry Kimmel and Pollack has teamed with Eric Thompson's Vigilante Entertainment to obtain feature film and TV rights to Gregg Olsen's youthful adult series "Empty Coffin." KK&P and Vigilante will co-finance and co-produce the initial title inside the series, "Envy," a paranormal thriller that follows twin brothers and sisters Hayley and Taylor Ryan simply because they make an effort to solve the mystery all over the dying from the friend. The ladies use their talents to solve the crime and on the way, identify the foundation that goes for them forces.
KK&P's Boss Michael Pollack and prexy Mark Morgan ("The Twilight Saga") will produce with Eric Thompson, Brett Hudson and Kami Garcia.
"The material is sharp, funny and eerie," mentioned Thompson, who just produced the indie horror pic "Traditions of Spring."
